Nice to meet you

ABOUT ME

My life has been varied with many experiences and busy, as we all are. I live in a beautiful village called Fovant with my husband and two children.

I was brought up by my mum who was widowed very early on. I have experienced nurse training, home care, personnel assistant, accounts assistant, wedding and events organiser, qualified as a garden designer, gardener, grounds maintenance contracts manager and full time mum to list a few but each and every one has given me more insight to the way the world works in and out of the home.

A GOOD PHRASE

"Something is better than nothing."

This phrase has always helped me over the years and maybe for yourself too!

Charities

The Trussell Trust

If in the process of sorting there are items that could be reused by charity, I would be happy to take them away. I would take them to Trussell Trust who help with hunger in the UK. If you would like to know more go to www.trusselltrust.org

I have always in my life tried to give by time or by money to charities to people less fortunate than myself and I continue this through the business too.

World Vision

Every hour that I work I will donate a £1 to the projects of World Vision. They work to overcome childhood poverty worldwide for the most vulnerable children. If you would like to know more go to www.worldvision.org.uk

The Environment

Waste

I do not like to see waste if there is another use or way of recycling it.

Examples: Out of date food will be emptied and container washed and recycled.

Paperwork with personal details will be shredded or burnt, the remaining parts will be recycled.

Metals, electrics, paints, wood etc can be sorted and taken to your local recycling centre.

Any items that can be sold or to charity will be sorted.

I do not have a waste licence so will not be able to take items away for the local recycling centre.

I can help with charity items by taking these away.

If there is too much damaged unrecyclable items, a skip or waste collection business may be needed.

Buying

I will try and reuse where possible in organising and sorting areas but there may need to be some items bought to aid this. I do not buy these items but I would be happy to advise what to buy with you.

I do not promote plastic items as I feel it is not the way forward anymore, but understand if you feel differently.

Products

When cleaning items and areas that have been sorted, I will bring my own products which are less harmful to the environment and includes environmentally friendly packaging.

No mess is too big

MENTAL HEALTH

Getting out of bed each day can either be an uplifting feeling or one of not wanting to face the day. It is known that your mood is surprisingly linked to how your home life is. So if you are dreading going home through your front door or getting up each day due to the muddle in your home, please do not think you could not ask me for help, no mess is to big.

Together we can sort through, manage the task and restore harmony to your home and yourself. To help with the positive experience I will take a before and after photo to give to you. This will re-enforce how well you have done and how far you have come in this process.

Start the conversation

If you are lost in belongings and need a guiding hand then pick up the phone and let's start the conversation.
